Accounts & setup
Do I need a sales call or live walkthrough to get started?
No. Try the interactive sample demo without signing in, then follow the five-step setup guide. When ready, create a business account and choose a monthly plan. You do not need an appointment or a live demo.
Does creating an account start a subscription?
No. Registration and email verification do not charge you. Subscription checkout is a separate step where the company owner reviews the plan and accepts the billing terms. Dockcerto currently has paid monthly plans and does not offer an automatic free trial.
Why do I need to verify my email?
Email verification protects access to your private company workspace. Use the newest six-digit code sent to your business email, and check the spam folder if needed. The registration screen has a Send a new code action. Never share a verification code with a third party.
Can colleagues join my workspace?
Team access depends on the subscription's available seats and a matching verified company-controlled email domain. The company owner manages invitations in Settings and Team & seats. Starter includes one total user.
Pickups & warehouses
How do I create my first pickup?
Open your company workspace, select New pickup, then enter a reference, pickup date, warehouse/contact and freight details. You can reuse saved warehouse records for later pickups. See step 2 of the guide. Creating a pickup alone never sends a warehouse invitation.
Can I correct a pickup after creating it?
For eligible records, open Pickups and choose Edit pickup details (or Edit from the pickup view). Ready and Cancelled pickups are locked. If your pickup is locked, review the recorded details before creating another record.
Does a pickup time mean the warehouse has confirmed an appointment?
No. Requested pickup hours and dock instructions describe your plan; they are not a confirmed warehouse appointment. Confirm appointments and changes with the actual warehouse. Dockcerto records warehouse-reported readiness rather than certifying freight conditions.
Checklist & confirmations
Does the warehouse need a Dockcerto account?
No. Generate a secure checklist link for the specific pickup, then share it only with the intended warehouse contact. That contact can answer the four readiness questions without signing up. Links are normally single-use and expire after 48 hours.
Does generating a link automatically email the warehouse?
No. You may copy the link and send it through your usual channel. Where workspace email is enabled, your team must deliberately select Send invitation for the initial email. A generated link, an accepted email request, and confirmed delivery are different events.
What if the warehouse has not responded?
Check Activity, the link state, and the contact details. Use Readiness → Follow-ups to review unanswered items. Where email reminders are enabled, at most one optional reminder may be sent after 24 hours if unanswered. Do not regenerate a link just to check its status.
What happens when I replace a confirmation link?
Replacing a link invalidates the previous unused link. Only replace it when needed, because the old URL will stop working. Review the pickup reference and contact before generating the replacement.
What do Ready, Needs Attention and Unconfirmed mean?
Ready means the warehouse reported all four readiness items as ready. Needs Attention means one or more reported answers require review. Unconfirmed means a completed response has not yet been recorded. These are warehouse-reported statuses, not independent certification or a dispatch guarantee.
Subscription & billing
Where can I see my plan, invoices, or payment settings?
Sign in and open Settings, then Billing & plan. The verified company owner can review the plan and use the existing secure billing flow for eligible subscription or payment changes. The public pricing page shows current published allowances and prices.
Can I try the product without paying first?
Yes, the interactive demo uses fictional sample pickups and needs no account or payment. It never sends real warehouse email or creates real shipments. Working with your own company pickup records requires a qualifying paid entitlement.
Support & privacy
What should I do if something still doesn't work?
First check the relevant guide and the status of the affected pickup. If the issue persists, signed-in customers can open Support Center to save a private request and follow its status; otherwise use Contact Dockcerto. Please do not include passwords, payment details, or confidential freight documents in a help request.
Are the interactive demo records real customer data?
No. The public interactive demo is labeled as sample data and runs separately from live private workspaces. It does not send operational emails or charge you. For details on personal data handling, see the Privacy Notice.
Still need assistance?
Check the guided setup first. If an exception remains, save a private support request. No sales call or personal walkthrough is required.
